They Should Have Never Given You N!ggaz Money, Edition 1

Recently, I stumbled upon a blog by J.E. Skeets (the name is not what you think it is), he is a guy that usually makes interesting posts about the basketball world in the blog entitled Ball Don't Lie (which is also not what you think it is). If you never liked basketball, I would bet money that he can change that. Which reminds me of another great sportsblogger/writer, mentor, and good friend- Jack M. Silverstein.

Nonetheless, Skeets wrote a short blog about Marquis Daniels' diamond-encrusted gold pendant of no another than, you guessed it Marquis Daniels. Which made me think about 3 Reasons They Should Have Never Given You N!ggaz Money, Part 1 (Hence, I used the word n!gga while directing you to two great white writers with phenomenal swag, the irony.)

1. You Don't Know What to Spend Your Money On- Yes, you spend your money on bullsh!t such as big chains, rims, whips, booz, broads, bangers (look up Gilbert Arenas, Plaxico Burress, etc.), houses that you haven't seen in their entirety because they're so huge, and just blatant n!gga shit. Example: Soulja Boy's Lambo Pendant studded with black diamonds. That Lambo-noose could have sent a handful of his  aspiring friends to school to gain a bachelors or doctorates in subject matter that could have positively affected the black diasporan community.

Sidenote: Though I do not exclusively have the right to tell others what they should and should not spend their money on, I will give my d^mn opinion anyway.

2. You Have the Money Without the Manners- No matter how much money you give a coon that does not change who they were. Great athlete or not does not compensate for a stupendously stupid individual.

A professor once told me, "You will always be able to see the difference between new money and old money, because old money usually (emphasis on usually) comes with manners, etiquette, etc." Not to say  that there aren't people with old money that are just as or more ignorant than the new money getters.

3. Money has Replaced Integrity- We fail to glorify those with integrity, self-respect, and self-worth, we put so much importance on money, greed, and material sneezes. I refer to them as sneezes becuase they are nasty nothings that are frivol fractions of our life and worth as human beings.

By the way Marquis Daniels happens to look like a crackhead Jesus, but that's the least of my concerns with his Smokey the crackhead from PJ's looking...Peace

I love this!

In addition to everything you said, as a woman (I'm probably in the minority) there is nothing more lame than men who lead with their money. Nothing says "I really ain't sh*t so here focus on all my shiny sh*t so you won't figure out how little personality, true charm and/or intelligence I have" than n*ggas who start off an encounter with an unnecessary show of wealth

Successful men are wonderful and yes I want one too but typically when they use their money to hook you it's that same money they use to try to control you - too much unnecessary personal sacrifice that comes with tryna have access to and spend someone else's money...I'll pass
