Ok, so like I was saying, Waka Waka Flocka Flocka Flocka Waka Waka Flocka(yeah I made you read it, lmao) saddens me, because he is literally the deterioration of my generation in the form of music. Young men whom have no regard for the educational system or who are just so mentally impoverished that there seems like no hope for them. I couldn't believe he said he was going to come to school to major in "geometry" Whatta Waka Flocka is he talking about.

Now I must ask myself-

Do I listen to his music?Yes

Could you have caught me bobbing my head enthusiastically to his lyrics and cadences?Yes

But do I read? Yes

Do I happen to fix my collar and tie, and walk out my car with dignity after being metamorphed from goon to intelligent black male? Well, hell yes

But his lyrics do haunt me. He's clever from time to time. "They said they gone kidnap my daughter, but I aint got no daughter/They just mad cause Imma baller. Nevertheless, I think about the guys younger than me that can't separate machismo bullsh!t so that they can be productive member of society and pillars of strength in the black community.There's nothing wrong when you can balance your being of ultimate male brazenness with a level-headed conscience, yet how many young men exude that.

In conclusion, at one time dreads meant something being extensions of spirituality that hung from one's mind. Thick, black, and bold. As you see them shaken to such goon  coon music, it seems as if common sense is flung out into the universe with each cosmic cranial shift.
